GESAMTKUNSTWERK

The major result of my research in Gesamtkunstwerk is my own dance piece, "Paisley Mastodons," which can be viewed in full here.  This piece was choreographed and rehearsed in collaboration with a cast of thirteen dancers over the course of one academic year, or approximately six and a half months.  The following pages detail my methodology in creating this work, and my justification for its place in the theory of Gesamtkunstwerk.
